Marital differences always happen

When a couple weds for the first time, the only thing on their minds is a good and wonderful life ahead of them. However, after a few months, weeks or even days they soon realize that things are not always the way they seem to be. Differences in Marriage will always happen Why? Because everybody comes from different backgrounds, have their own experiences and their own way of doing things, everybody has their own way of thinking. When Marriage mates fight or argue, they usually revert to the silent treatment. What is the silent treatment? The silent treatment involves temporarily not talking with your spouse or having discussions the way you used to. So even when you say hi to your spouse, he/she either pretends not to have heard you or doesnt respond the way you are normally used to hearing them respond. Why the silent treatment? Some want to punish their spouse for what he/she did. Most revert to the silent treatment because they are angry and they don't even want to look at their sposes while others revert to the silent treatment because they just dont really know of a better way to solve the problem. In addition, others just want to cool down their anger.

If you are going through a silent treatment, heres some good advice for you...The silent treatment is not the best way to solve a Marital difference...Why? Because you will just realize that you and your spouse will be drifting away from each other and before you know it, you will be visiting the courts for divorce. Every relationship depends on good communication and without communication as in the case of the silent treatment, you dont provide the opportunity for reconciliation between yourselves.You will soon realize that even the atmospher in the home becomes dull because you and your spouse are no longer happy. This can have a bad effect on your relationship and even on your children. 1. Solve it yourself; One of you should take the first step to break the silence. You can always begin with a simple "HI" or by doing something generous or something thoughtful. Here are a few things you can try to do to break the silence;

Do your spouse a thoughtful favor like making a cup of tea or coffee. Or by helping with the dishes..etc
Give your spouse a gift
Or simply just say Sorry

2. Involve Others; You can get others to help solve your problem. These could include mature members of your family, parents or even very close friends. The point is not really to establish who was wrong or right but the point is to reconcile. When you get others involved you might be surprised how easily your spouse will begin to open up.
