Good Steps to being the best Father

Fathering is just great!

Being a parent is no joke at all because what usually comes with parenting includes the use of your valuable time to instill good attributes to your children. If you re a Father, you may have already seen that over the years, taking care of your children is really a challenge but a rewarding experience. Seeing your children grow from little ones to responsible adults can give you a really warmth feeling also some level of satisfaction. However, being the best Father doesn't mean pleasing your child always because the truth is, if you want to see your children grow into responsible adults you musnt always give into their demands. Heres some good advice for you, rear your children lovingly and instill good qualities in them.

Steps to Fathering the best way you can

1. Time; This advice blog had mentioned this before and will continue to mention this, time with children and with the rest of your family is a must do. However, as a Father your time alone with your child is criticle to a child's development just as is the same with the child's time spent alone with the Mother. You have heard experiences how children as they grow up without a Father have often complained how they wish they had a Father to look up to. You want to make sure that nothing gets in the way with spending time with your child as a Father.

2. Be dependable; You need to get your child to trust you and your word. If your child wants you to be their for a school event and you give him/her your word that you will be there, please dont miss it. On the other hand if you do miss it, dont be in the habit of missing future events your child may invite you for. You dont want your child telling you in your face that "you are never there for me". If a child tells you that, that can be a really heartbreaking experience especially if you know you can actually do so much better. Heres some good advice for you, dont let them down.

3. Don't be harsh; Your child has to see you as somebody he can look for support and love on a rainy day. In short, you shouldn't push your child away. If you had a bad day or you are running through very difficult economic times, dont throw your anxiety on your child. Being rough and harsh can make you like a parent whose not approachable and loving.

4. Give your child a chance; Your child sometimes wants to impress you with stuff even when you know fully well that he cant or he doesnt do it properlly. As long as its not wrong, if your child tries to impress you, even if he didnt do a perfect job learn to encourage him/her.

5. Lead by example; Be a good example to your child. If you want your child to be kind are you kind? If you want your child to be thankful after receiving things are you thankful after receiving things? All these seemingly small things can have a profound influence in the mental development of your child in future years. Heres some good advice for you, lead by example.

Fathering is one of those things you just have to do at all costs. In this advice blog, you can benefit more by writing to us some of your experiences you have had in raising your children. All the best.
